Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan's eagerly awaited film
Kites is all set to make its mark not only in India but even in the international arena. Directed by Anurag Basu and starring Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori and Kangna Ranaut in lead roles,
Kites will be released in two versions - Hindi and English. To make the English version suitable for an international market, the makers of
Kites have roped in Hollywood director Brett Ratner (of the famous
Rush Hour series). Brett is currently working on the English version of
Kites and tailoring it to appeal the international audience.
In the international markets
Kites will release with the English and Hindi version simultaneously whereas in India, the film will release in the Hindi version.
Kites is expected to cut across national boundaries and sensibilities to achieve a universal appeal. The film will see the widest possible release, both at national and international level. While the release dates will be announced soon, the Hindi version is complete and the producers are very happy with the outcome.
